We share 30 years of accumulated best practice with our Members and Fellows.

What is best practice?

Best practice helps people to get on with life easily, and with dignity. It gives them information they can use to do the ordinary things of life they need and want to do.

Best practice helps people to:

  • easily find what they are looking for, whether it’s available on paper or online
  • easily exercise their rights
  • receive information they can act on in their own and their community’s interest
  • pay bills straightforwardly
  • query any matter straightforwardly
  • safely use dangerous products
  • find out how to get from one place to another
  • request and get benefits they are entitled to, easily and simply
  • get compensation they deserve without trauma or guilt
  • buy products they want easily…

…and do all of these things to an agreed high standard, demonstrated with credible before and after evidence.
